Clearinghouse CDFI Welcomes Kat Donovan:
Kat is a monitoring and evaluation professional with experience in public health and community development. In her free time, Kat volunteers as a grant proposal evaluator for a social justice philanthropic initiative dedicated to catalyzing community-driven change that facilitates economic opportunity, justice, and liberation in Washington, DC. She received her bachelor’s degree from James Madison University and postgraduate degree from Durham University in the UK.
Kat recently joined the Clearinghouse CDFI team as Impact Analyst. Under the guidance of Mai Ha, Director of Impact, Kat analyzes loan data, prepares internal and external impact reports, and works to expand and improve data collection methods. She also writes various grant proposals, including the CDFI Fund’s Financial Assistance Program and Capital Magnet Fund Program, and monitors the deployment of these awards for compliance and impact purposes
