Clearinghouse CDFI (CCDFI) extended a $777,175 loan to Key Community Housing for the acquisition of a single-family house to be rehabilitated and operated as an enhanced behavioral support home.
Key Community Housing, San Diego Regional Center, and The Department of Developmental Services are working to bring Enhanced Behavioral Support to children in Southern California. Financing provided by CCDFI will support Key Community Housing’s purchase of an existing residential property and rehabilitate it to provide affordable housing for children with developmental disabilities. This property will be operated as an Enhanced Behavioral Support home for 5 children and provide them with 24-hour non-medical care and consultation in a safe home-like setting.
Key Community Housing, a non-profit founded in 2007, provides affordable housing for those with special needs in Southern California and currently oversees 11 adult residential homes. Through collaborative partnerships, they address the housing crisis by ensuring safe, affordable, and accessible homes for individuals with developmental disabilities.
