Omak Clinic – Omak, WA

Clearinghouse CDFI (CCDFI) contributed $8 million in New Markets Tax Credit financing to The Omak Clinic for expansion of healthcare access for low-income communities.

Addressing the critical healthcare provider shortage on the Colville Indian Reservation, this project is crucial for a community located in a Medically Underserved Area with high poverty and unemployment rates. CCDFI’s financing facilitates the construction of a new 33,657 ft² health facility in Omak, WA, replacing the inadequate 5,400 ft² center. This state-of-the-art facility will significantly enhance healthcare delivery with 18 exam rooms, 6 dental chairs, and expanded services like Pharmacy, Diagnostic Imaging, Laboratory, Optometry, Physical Rehabilitation, and Behavioral Health.

The Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation maintain a robust cultural heritage through traditional practices and ceremonies. The Tribe provides essential health services to support the largest populations on the reservation and offer comprehensive healthcare services, reflecting ongoing collaboration with health programs and local centers.
