Clearinghouse CDFI (CCDFI) provided $2,640,000 in financing to The Teen Project for addiction rehabilitation services and care for transitional young women facing homelessness and abuse.
The Teen Project is a nonprofit organization focused on providing healing and hope to young women who have survived human trafficking and homelessness. In conjunction with the County of Los Angeles, Department of Public Health, Substance Abuse Prevention and Control, The Teen Project offers their services at no cost to eligible recipients. Financing provided by CCDFI will allow The Teen Project to acquire a property to provide residential services such as drug rehabilitation services and care for transitional youth through a trauma-informed lens.
The Teen Project was founded in 2007 with the mission of providing innovative programs focused on drug treatment, psychotherapy, life skills, and higher education. They are a parent to the parentless providing young women without resources with a chance at life. Clearinghouse CDFI is delighted to fund another impactful venture with The Teen Project.
